March 30, 2008En todo orden de vida la Literatura es siempre más poderosa que las armas. En principio puede parecer que la fuerza se impone pero como los juncos al viento las ideas se doblan bajo el fuerte impulso del comando para levantarse nuevamente y con más fuerza luego que pasó el torbellino.
In all order of life Literature is always more powerful than weapons. At first it seems that everything yield to force but as reeds in the wind, ideas bend under the strong impulse of the command, to get up again and stronger when the maelstrom is over.

Adagios: Sentencia breve, transmitida a través de la tradición y que contiene, por lo general, un tema moral.
Aforismos: Expresión u oración breve que resulta de la experiencia de vida y que intenta manifiestar una creencia o una verdad en forma breve, deliberativa y aparentemente completa.
Axiomas: Expresión u oración breve que parece ser cierta sin necesidad de pruebas. En definitiva, una verdad evidente.
Proverbios: Son sentencias breves, sacadas de la experiencia y especulación de los sabios antiguos.
Refranes: Oraciones breves que pretenden describir situaciones reales o estados emocionales.
Proverbios Apologéticos o Wellerismos: Frase proverbial, sentenciosa, de tono solemne o desenfadado, atribuida a personajes imaginarios. Nombre extraído de Sam Weller personaje de Charles Dickens que hace uso de estas frases. Toma a broma los proverbios establecidos demostrando que, en ciertas situaciones son erróneos, a menudo cuando se los toma demasiado literalmente.
